After the excitement of the win last week, I'm hoping there is no "let down" against Ormond. We are going to be playing this mob again next year and it is important that we get the "edge" on them with a big win today.

It would be great to get as many supporters at the game today as possible, so if you were thinking about it, why not come down and give the 'Roys a cheer, especially as it is our last home game.

Something special is happening with Fitzroy at the Brunswick st oval and people should get on board!

A severe cross wind greatly affected the Roy's high possession game today. They guys showed terrific commitment, however Ormond's more efficient ball use was the principal difference between the two sides - which certainly reflected on the scoreboard. For your information Ormond's sole behind was rushed and could have easily been a major. Hopefully the Roys finish off a commendable season with a win next week.
 
Flu crept back on me a little today, so I was in bed until mid-way thru the afternoon.

Bugger that we couldn't back up last week's result with a win today, but still good to hear we battled on the way we did...
