Great player many moons ago...good on him for falling on his sword..unfortunately it had to happen

saw him play 2 minutes of a practice match two years ago at Optus Oval befoe he went off injured...was that the last time he played for the lions? or has he played with the reserves?

It is easy to forget how good a player Charmo was at his best. When he was fit and firing he was one of our biggest assets. He was in the face of everyone he played against and you always knew he was going to give the club 100%. The injuries he had to deal with cut short his football career but at least he did play in a premiership team. Well done Jamie. Thanks for the memories.

Congrat's to Charmo on a great, albeit frustratingly injury interrupted career. A real shame that he played his last game for the Lions at only 27 years of age.

Was only last year he went for a mark and collapsed on landing. All the best on future endeavours.

Best of luck in the future Charmo. If you weren't so competetive you probably would have had more longevity, but it was that competitiveness that made me enjoy watching you throw your big frame around.

Yeah sad to see him go. What of been a good asset if he was able to come back and relieve a bit of the rucking work. Good luck in his future endeavours.
