We once again find ourselves trying to improve our squads. In this game you can trade picks and players in order to create a better team.

All trades need to be confirmed on the thread.
All squads/teams/trades need to be posted in the squads thread.

I'm thinking as each team gets taken they get to pick an unregistered player in their team (1st in 1st pick)
Each club can nominate upto 7 players who will be untouchable. (unregistered players are also untouchable and dont count in the 7)
GWS has access any other player on the clubs lists for free (1 per club so 16 all up)
GWS also has access to 6 perviously listed/uncontracted/state listed players.
so that makes 22 players plus the current list
Add to that picks 1,2,3,5,7,9,11,13,15 and the 1st pick in each round they should be able to get a decent squad here.

There WILL NOT be a draft at the end so the only use for picks is to sweeten deals.

Think you've gave GWS a little to much advantage here mate

and you said before GC doesn't have any untouchables?

yeah nobody from GC is actually allowed to be taken pre-trading. if i remember from when i did it. they dont lose anyone and they dont get the unregistered players. i dont think gws in the real afl can poach a gc player

Iv just copyed and paste from another game, i think its a good idea. gets GWS active in the trades more. yes i read over that and thought if everyone else lose's one why not them?

They are the other new club, should make it you have to pick 10 player only (like in real life) and give the clubs that you do take players from some sort of compo pick

or have it that you just get the players that GWS have like everyone else (eg Davis,Power,Brogan,C Cornes,Ward,Palmer)

i think a compo pick wouldnt work as theres no draft so picks dont have any real meaning

What is the point if a compo pick when everyone know picks mean nothing?
If we are going to change it then can you please write up some sort of guide line for signing players? Like the one above?

Compo picks are impossible because were only using picks from the upcoming draft so that cant be done.

I think its about as fair as it can be to be honest like dont get me wrong if i could of traded roughy i would of got plenty for him but at the end of the day if GWS are to be involved it needs to be something like this.

So i say we either keep it this way or scrap GWS from the game ?
I'm easy either way.

GWS are allowed to take up to ten players from the 16 clubs (bar GC) only one per club, if GWS take one of your players than SNake Charmer will fit in a extra pick towards the draft where he see's fit, challenges will be accepted and thrown to the rest of the threads players

an extra pick is better than nothing
It doesn't allow GWS to have a super team (at the moment he will be gaining every clubs 8th best player (or higher if he is older)) but i think still allows them to be active throughout the game, people just need to take into account the picks that clubs have at the end of the game

Im with Roy boys. I dont really want to stuff around working out what pick you should get for what player, then work out if for example carlton have pick 40 or 41. it will be far to confusing. Take another up coming draftee if you would?
