Why has Sam Lonergan not been reported?

I'm not taking the piss, i'm deadly serious.

Rough conduct (a free kick was awarded), negligent (a free kick was awarded) and severe impact (Carazzo has a fractured shoulder blade).

Where is the difference?

How could Lindsay get pinged and Lonergan get a pass?

he lets him go before they hit the deck........some of you lads have to look at each incident individually.
Push in the back at its worse, which turns out,was the call ??
Forget about Lindsay on Rohan. We´re all up in arms.
Goodes last week was soft .......but he had slid in feet/knees first on 2 different occasions over a space of 3 weeks prior to last.....he got pinged for that reason alone, and he had been in for a chat/warning.
Mrp and the fear of lawsuits against the league are killing the game.

Bugger Lonergan, I want to know why Brad Scott hasn't been charged for rough conduct on the coaches box. Impact - medium. Contact - reckless and high (eye level). Striking. 6 weeks with a guilty plea.

The biggest issue for me is why was Jacob Surjan not sighted?

Surjan leads with his knees and makes contact.

If LT is anything to go by, winning the ball makes no difference whatsoever, so rightly he should be pinged with just a lower level of "impact"

That pic tells a thousand words.

Goodes isn't even looking at the ball and I think you will find that is all that LT was looking at was the ball.

That's why it astounds me that people are claiming the incident's are even similar?!?!?!

Lance, the whole tenor of this thread is to highlight how ridiculous things are getting with the MRP. No one seriously thinks that either Lonergan or Thomas have anything to answer for.

I get that, I just think it's a really dumb way to go about it. If you think that accidents happen in football and that's part of life, then pointing out another one and petulantly stamping your foot that it didn't get done too seems kind of ludicrous and churlish to me.

My take on it is "today we are all North supporters" in relation to this incident, so alienating other supporter bases doesn't really do it for me

There's nothing unrelated either, Lonergans "indiscretion" matched Thomas's alleged "indiscretion".

Tef I just dropped in to again offer my support over this farce. Then I see you jumping up and down trying to equivalate the two incidents. I know you're no Essendon fan, and rightly so, but I would have thought something like this transcends normal petty rivalries, but I guess I was wrong.
