Agree, 12th to 14th for me. Though if North lose this week they could drop below us as well.

I'm embarrassed/flattered I provoked this. I reckon the majority on here see us as a team rebuilding, but also a team that has the ability for everything to gel and put on a show against the best teams. I see us 9-12

I thought at the start of the season 11th - now 13th

11th is the highest I think we could go and the lowest I think we could go is 13. Can't see us finishing below Brisbane, Port, Melbourne and the two expansion teams. North and Richmond both could finish above us if they perform well.

Given the season is wide open, I think we're a possibility of finishing anywhere from 9th - 13th
 
I was thinking about 8-10 wins and probably finishing 10th to 12th. I still think we are a good enough side to scrape in to the 8, and I wouldn’t be ruling that out entirely. I guess we’ll have a better idea after tomorrow night. Somehow win that and were definitely in with a shot.

I'm not voting in this because I actually have no idea where we will finish.

If you had of asked me before the season I would have said some where between 16th-13th. On paper I couldn't see us kicking more than 5 goals a game but thought we'd still get over GWS and GC.

We could finish 8th but bear in mind we've beaten GC(Losing at halftime?) and GWS(Goalless in the first qt) and Melb(Mitch Clarke injury in the 3rd really helped us) and North(Verdict's really out on them at the moment)

The flip side to this is we matched with WC for 2 and a half quarters, Collingwood and Adelaide for a touch over three quarters. That's three of the best sides going around and if we had some resemblance of a forward line we would have most likely won two of those.

Yes, I am a member. I receive lots of other emails from the club re shop sales, team selection, etc, but I haven't had any of these. Never mind, I found a link from an older thread and it took me right to it so I've bookmarked it.

There are 2 games against Brisbane to come, that's 2 more, perhaps Port Adelaide and allow another boilover. That's 8 for the year. I can't see any of Melbourne, GWS or Gold coast making that up. The lowest finish could be 15th. Alow another spot up, perhaps ahead of Port or Brisbane, that's 14th. That gives us picks 6 and 7. Even if we didn't win again this season, I can't see us getting an earlier pick than 5.
 
I reckon it'll be between 11 and 14 inclusive, possibly pushing 10 if things go our way (or 15 if they don't). I don't think we'll be bottom four, but similar I think top 8 is very, very optimistic. It's not so much about how we're doing as opposed to how everyone else is doing, it's a very tight field this year.
 
As bad as Melbourne seem to be their list is not 0-9 potential, there are certainly other problems there. They play GWS twice GCS once and Brisbane once, they are a fair chance of winning some or most of them, and if they manage to get their act together, they might sneak a few more.
Brisbane are in the same boat as are Port, and if they get it together, particularly at their home games they could get up the ladder a few spots too.
Point is there are really no gimmee games anymore, and if anyone drops their guard, they could be in for a nasty shock, as was shown by us in the first half against GWS and Gold coast.
As Sights pointed out its as much to do with how the other teams play and some of the frontrunners coming back to the field as injuries start to bite.
