Not surprising. Found this photo of Kayne's brother.

He'd never get a game for North with that haircut.

Gerard mentioned Adelaide blew their chance to win the game then a minute later blamed J Pod for costing the Crows victory. We must be the luckiest side in the league with every team we play against putting in sub standard performances allowing us easy victories.
Come on every win North has had since Carey left has been lucky, apparently

Have we actually won one game on merit this year?

Boys are flying a little under the radar at the moment with most commentators thinking, if they do not say it, that without Harvey or even with him, NM are just making up the numbers.

Probably a good thing however galling it might feel....

  • Said Turner threw himself in front of Jack Z in his first training session at the club. It was then the North players knew that Turner, who "looked like a jockey", was going to be tough and hard.

Why isn't Gerard Healy on Twitter so we can abuse him?

At least Iron Mike pulled his up on that and said something along the lines of "You are doing North Melbourne a disservice"

Turner threw himself in front of Ziebell? And he's still alive? Find out what this kid is made of and replicate it NOW, we will be millionaires.

Gotta put a statue of Turner throwing himself in front of the statue of Jack methinks.

After an outstanding 2014, Michael Firrito, 30, will play on in 2015 with North Melb, having signed a new 1yr deal.

"...the veteran told AFL.com.au he was so excited by what the future held at Arden Street that he was not putting any end date on his career.

"It's a very exciting time at the footy club so to be a part of it is pretty nice," Firrito said on Wednesday. "I'm getting older too, so I certainly cherish the times playing finals.

"It's a funny game footy. I'm just excited to kick on for another 12 months, but who knows what lies ahead?"

Really had a cracking year after being gone for all money early on.

Whoe knows whether that will be the case next year however either way, looking at Spud's career off the rookie list he has achieved a massive amount with his talents and should be immensely proud IMHO. He has achieved more than many players with twice the natural ability.

Good stuff spud. A true north man. Making the most of himself, and when used properly, and not on 201cm behemoths, is a very good defender. Kudos.

Was always going to sign, as he's a true shinboner and had a fantastic year.

Keep up the great work Spud, keep proving the doubters wrong.
