Spud and Boyd will be crossing the threshold together.

NTTAWWT of course.

Good pick up. Pity, it was a fascinating possibility while it lasted.

Yeah he played it the weekend Phil Walsh died, so there wasn't much made of it. I felt sorry for him actually, he didn't get to sing the song. I still don't get why they did that.

This Saturday, Michael Firrito will become just the 10th North Melbourne player to reach the 250 game milestone

Firrito said he was keen to play on in 2016, but didn’t put a timeframe on any new deal.

“We stay in regular chats with Brad (Scott) and Cam Joyce, our list manager, and we’ve done that the last couple of years.

“The body is feeling really good and the mind is good, which is just as important.

“I can still bring something to the table. I do want to go on, but we’ll see, and we’ll make the right decision.”

Good stuff spud, you have been a wonderful servant of our football club and done the royal blue and white proud, congratulations on your 250th and yes a true shinboner.

Has taken many hits, including against much bigger forwards he has been forced to play on, so massive congrats on 250th game.

A dedicated shinboner.

Unlike many, I hope he wants to around again in 2016, and add the elite talent available for our challenge for premiership number 5.

Well done Spud. Is there any more true shinboner at North?

He has always played with heart and soul for this club. I even remember him saying he wore an extra pair of socks while playing as an undersized full back when our KP stocks were especially low.

Will rightfully go down as a great player for our great club and a deserved custodian of the number 11 jumper.

Legend.

A much better player than he is given credit to from the general public. Feel like he is a victim of being a defender behind some very average midfields in his time at North.

On yah Spud on 250 games for the Mighty NMFC. Some of your team mates should be ashamed of themselves for the shitful efforts they put in during this milestone game for you. Anyways you've had a ripping career thus far. Well done! :stern look
