In order of that list probably, Durdin, Goddard, Cockatoo then Duggan.

Seen some posters talking about West Coast picking Cockatoo at 11 if Pickett gone. Some say Eagles have talked to him

The meltdowns in a few years when he's not a star would be epic. "Why did we reach" lol
Menadue could have the same sort of reaction except in reverse as posters would be screaming why isn't he starting in his first season.

Because it's an astounding reach, and it'd strike out any future debate about us picking him if he turns out a better player than whoever we get at 12.

Less of a reach than Conca who was more vanilla than Heppell.

Why would it strike out any future debate??

If Cockatoo turns out a gun, then what??? Recruiting department sacked???

It would strike out future debate because taking him was never an option if he were already off the table.

Highly dependant on if the player we chose at 12 turns out to be a gun.
If both players end up being guns then who cares. If the player we chose flops and Cockatoo goes at 14-18 and turns out to be a gun who knows what could happen.

We should care because a line breaker who can assist in the middle and elsewhere is more valuable!! So is a KPP. Do you want another Fiora v Pavlich or Tambling v Franklin debate again?

You realise Duggan is no guarantee he will build up his body to cope with the rigours and pressure of AFL on field. In that sense Drummond is far more secure with a later pick!

Interesting the KPP's at this at have not been too bad and held their value reasonably.

Frawley, JR later, Schultz has been okay even though we passed him for peanuts, Jaksch has been of value trading to Carlton.

Weakest link is probably Meyer.
