Would scare the life out of any defense

I agree that over his career he has acted petulant on the field. Was part of the reason originally i wanted the transfer to Madrid to happen.
He is misunderstood though to a certain degree and u wont find anyone more unselfish with his time and money off the field. Extremely generous person.
he does have a statue of himself in his own museum. A little weird.
although not sure he has a portrait of himself in his living room like b.rodgers does.

His celebration in the CL final was perfect, it was hilarious watching everyone freak out.

Real Madrid won't win anything without Ronaldo. Their first loss since September came when Ronaldo was on the bench. Before that they only lost while Ronaldo was injured
it was good that he didn't celebrate the important goals. why be happy for your teammates if you haven't scored yourself yet?
it is afterall an individuals sport.

messi what a boss, involved in all 4 goals today including's atletico's lol.

He was the most wasteful today. His team completely dominated and gave him 7 chances on goal and he only scored 1.

He did better than usual though against them. It was so rare to see him score and get out of walking pace.

All good with Bale, he was through on goal and pulled the trigger. He helped the team with a brilliant free kick in the game too.
Was anything but all good in the stands.

I get that Ronaldo is worshipped there but the guy who scores a wonder FK for your side that is just 2-0 up shouldn't be jeered every single time he touches the ball from that point on. It was very tense in the crowd after Bale missed that goal. I don't think there is a CR-Bale rivalry between themselves at all though. The amount of times they do link up (e.g. that ball for the 1st assist) that gets a thumbs up or clap is of course overlooked.

Massive credit also to Neymar who got the sh*t kicked out of him in the Sunday game and staying on and getting MOTM! Messi was very very lucky to have stayed on the pitch. Throwing the arm back and almost taking off the GK's head could/should have seen red!

FIFA president, Joseph Blatter, responded to questions from RTVE (Spanish national TV and radio) in Zurich just hours before the Ballon d'Or award gala ceremony.

The FIFA president spoke of the tension between FC Barcelona and football's world governing body, saying that he wanted to chat with Barça's representative in attendance at the event. Blatter believes the matter "has a possible solution".

"We have time. I want to talk with Barça's representative because there is a possible solution to the matter. A club like Barcelona must be an example to the world", said the FIFA president. In doing so, Joseph Blatter has opened the lines of communication which could improve the relationship between both parties.

FIFA continue to investigate Real Madrid for the signing of minors

Until now it was just rumours. Simple speculation to serve as an alarm for Europe's biggest clubs after FIFA branded Barcelona with a transfer ban and a fine for the way they signed minors.

Real Madrid, among others, were said to be in the spotlight of world football's governing body, but "much ado about nothing" was the word on FIFA's investigation.

But now Los Blancos are in the firing line from Joseph Blatter and his men.

The FIFA president has contacted around 20 clubs in the Madrid community, all of whom have a collaboration agreement with Madrid, to demand information about the signings of underage players they have made.

FIFA's moves have quickly forced a reaction from Madrid, who have already seen Barcelona end up with a transfer ban for the whole of 2015.

Florentino Perez, the club's president, has been quick to contact the clubs and players involved to make sure they do not make any information official until they have had a conversation with Madrid.

Los Blancos want to keep the situation that has already cost Barcelona under control. FIFA are following their footsteps.

Be interesting if Torres can perform for Atletico it will cement Chelsea as the only club who failed to get service out of him.
No. AC Milan shafted him after six months. The fact that he scored twice says more about Real Madrid's defence than it does Fernando Torres lol

They're the only ones silly enough to pay his full wage and with out them still paying a portion he wouldn't have made it to AM.

A detour he needed to make.

Cerci ' s wages are 2.5 million euros per season & Torres agreed 3.1 million per season with AC. A difference of 11 K per week which is negligible (both clubs paying each other players wages).

Torres will join Atletico permanently as soon as FIFA allows it barring a serious injury.
