Will be interesting to see Seb actually have to race this time around and feel what it's like to get stuck behind slower cars.
The mercedes still seem to have the qualifying pace but cant quite yet translate that into race pace.

Webber's Q3 time was 2 tenths slower than Vettel's. Bit unusual and 5 tenths off his Q2 time. :/

Insanely good lap from Rosberg. Literally hit every single apex and used every inch of kerb on the exit of each corner.
WRT Webber being slower in Q3, in Q3 the temp dropped and according to Alonso the wind picked up, all the fastest times were done at the start of Q3.
All the guys who ran once did so at the end.

Rakkinon Buttun or Webber to win this race. Rakkinon the redbulls biggest threat and hamilton to hit something on the first sector of the first lap..

Nice job by Rosberg and I enjoyed the way he knew it was good enough.
I wonder if he can capitalise and make this a turning point for him, IIRC he has had a few losses of concentration at key moments in his career and I wonder if he can put it all together here.

The mercs have so far in 2 races been lions in qualifying pace and lambs in race pace.
Of all the reports they rekon the mercs degrade tyers and by all reports of the three tracks visited this year you'd expect that to be more pronounced in China.
These guys are gonna back the field up, which will make for an interesting race.
a smart person will be on hards at the start....

Surprise, surprise, Webber found himself stuck behind Alonso yet again. Good move to mix up the strategy, no point following Alonso around. Even if he passes him, he will be a sitting duck on the straight.

Webber's lapping faster than Hamilton and almost about to overtake him into a podium position and what do RBR do? Pit him. Now he has to do 21 laps on hards which he hasnt been able to do all race.

Well the strategy allowed him to overtake Hamilton, but it could have been so much better as he is stuck behind Senna. If he has stop again he will be almost out of the points, make them last and he has a podium.
God I hope Vettel doesn't make the tyres last
It gained him the place but now he has 5 lap older tires to defend with, Vettel will beat him now tbh.
Last 5 laps, surely they'll invoke the maintain the gap message?
