I'm thinking this may be Ellis's break-out game against some weak opposition where he'll have a bit more time to demonstrate his elite kicking.

Yeah Ellis has been breaking my balls as a starter but going again this week. He'll be sub at some stage which will be frustrating, will be kicking myself stupid if it is this week.

I'd wait for final teams tonight to see if Smedts makes it. Even if he does I wouldn't be relying on him starting. As I type Smedts announced as being withdrawn from the squad.

C.Smith vs Ledger vs Shiel

Smith was very average last week, Ledger looked good but was the sub, also they are playing each other. Shiel was okay in a smashing which is going to happen again.

What would you guys do?

Parker has had a rough start, should play well this week with Primus stating he will tag Kennedy (Sydney) hard.

Phil Davies and Clarke have 0.50% difference in average, so hard choice....

Tough to split Guthrie and Morris but I'd leave Morris on the bench just because you will already have Ellis on the field.

Shiel, I'd say he will get more game time, and after 27 last week, Smith is no certainty

Did the Dickson trade to Milera and finally realised (over 12 hours later) that I forgot to put him on the field (Devon Smith), or even list him as an emergency (Aaron Hall). Not happy.

I reckon he will, Dogs need tall forwards, but i'd say he will miss a few unless he blitzes it in the VFL.

Small win for me was having Aaron Hall on the field. He was at -1 at 1/4 time though which had me concerned!
