these guys are seriously lucky. Numerous balls past outside edges. Edges also dropping short, pattinson ball was 0.8cms away from bowling AB, ball hit faf's gloves and landed just away from short back pad.

Lyon has everything going for him. Day 5 pitch, left hander on strike, areas of rough to land it in and he isn't a great batter in the saffas team and he still cant get him out. Nathan Lyon does not look threatening one bit. He keeps going around the wicket when he should be going over the wicket where the ruff is. He will never beccome a great spinner if he limits himself to this.

It's always tough for an offie on a pitch giving nothing when the batsmen are stonewalling. He needs to develop a few more tricks and give the ball a bit more flight.

He has lost all confidence in doing so...so they say, I would say it was pretty evident in his performance.

He bowled a few from over the wicket last night, could barely get it to spin and lost drift too. I think his action completely fails him when he goes over the wicket which probably equates to the yips.
