Worrying form DEVO - had a quick squiz at the table, at least Carlisle aren't adrift of the teams around them yet or played more games for that matter.

Would have to be about 12 or so games to go wouldn't there? Plenty of time to rally and turn it around!

The last four games were all against teams currently in the top 7 which is a little unlucky, and we were competitive in all games which was a positive.

There are 13 games to go this season and 7 are home games, including Cheltenham, D&R & Hartlepool. We also have away games against York and Oxford.

We have an away game against league leaders Burton, but I think we can pick up points in all other games.

Curzon Ashton-Belper town drew this morning.
An FC United win tonight will put us at least 5 points clear on top of the table.
We'd go 6 clear of Skelmersdale, however, an Ilkeston win would put them 2nd 5 behind us.

Dream result is an FC United win and Ilkeston draw with Blyth tonight and a Stourbridge win.

Ilkeston and Blyth are the 2 closest teams to us when you look at the maximum points tally.
We have 6 points in hand which we can just drop. A win for us and a tie there increases that to 8 points we can drop.
A Stourbridge win (with an FC United win) ensures safety from relegation.....Probably not something to worry about, but you never know

1-0 win over Cheltenham this morning lifts us back up to 21st, 2pts clear of relegation zone. At home to Exeter this weekend, then away to York. Big few games coming up.

Actually a little sad that we drew :(
Meant Ilkeston closed the gap on us when they beat Blyth
3 points clear with 1 game in hand.
Still ours to lose, but I liked the room for error we had.

Southport is a pit:p

Fell asleep when up 3-1
See Grantham equalised Ilkeston at the death.
Now have 6 points to play with in the last 12 games :p

3-1 away win for Forest Green at 2nd place Barnet over the weekend. Massive win for us against a quality side to take us to 11 games unbeaten.

Think we only have 8 games left so we need to keep picking up wins and points in those few games to put the pressure on the chasing pack to drop points so they can't overtake/reel us in.

Half tempted to stay up for the game.
Yeah it's 5h 25min away, but I just got home and will need 1-2 hours to cool down.

1st vs 4th.
Absolutely huge game.

A win would almost certainly secure a top 2 finish.
A win with an Ashton loss would just about secure being champions (7 points clear 11 games left (for us) less for them)

Held on for the ugly win.
But other results don't sound like they're going our way.
2nd was up, 3rd came back to get the lead late, 5th won. No news on 4th, but honestly, they're irrelevant in the race. Want to see what 6th and 9th are doing but I haven't seen anything there.

And Blyth tied too (3-3)!
So 2 of the 5 other teams who can crack 90 have dropped points!
Make that 3 of 5 with Curzon Ashton drawing 0-0!

All results in, our 4 point lead has grown into a 5 point lead.

Next game is home to Workington (4th) on Tuesday. They're only 1 point adrift on 3rd and 2nd and have played the same amount of games as us.

1-1 for us at home to Braintree.

A win obviously would have been better but staying unbeaten is also not a bad consolation.

Eastleigh now 3 points and 2 games in hand behind us...
