Halifax 5-0 over Chorley to set up a dream home FA cup derby against West Yorkshire rivals, Bradford ( whom Halifax haven't played in 16 odd years).

Also play an England C game at the Shay in November.

It will be a tasty November in West Yorkshire....

And forgot, 2nd in the conference.

Pfft, East Yorkshire is where it's at. ;)

0-0 away to Wrexham.

Mind you everyone was focused on the Bradford Halifax Town FA Cup tie next Sunday so the game was in some ways an afterthought.

It's a tough league to get out of this year and one spanking 5-10 good game run may be enough to get you there

No doubt! Similarly, a team that goes into a bad run of form for 5-10 games might not be able to get back into the race to go up.

Completely forgot we were playing today (thought we had the weekend off due to fa cup).
Then up in my facebook feed comes

"Still 3-0 to FC
20 min"

Ok, just went back and looked. Was 3-0 after 8.

Hoping it's open next month.

In a few hours the shaymen take on the bantams in the FA cup. Apparently a plus 7000 crowd is expected and being the cup Halifax are a chance.

2-0 loss to league 1 side S(unthorpe (couldn't include a 'c' in there haha) in the first round of the FA Cup for FGR.

So that's what losing feels like, had nearly forgotten the feeling. :D

We got done 2 -1 after leading for half the game.8000 high crowd though highest ever for the new club. Grimsby next, time to smoke some kippers

Massive Cheltenham Town fan!!
