Damn, disappointing about those lads, Bampton will probably slide a lot more than he should in this draft.

Really keen to see how fit Caleb Daniel really is, I know he is a endurance machine but his beep test will spell it out. He'll be up there in the agility as well and I'm sure his decision making/aptitude test will go very well also. Cavka his main rival for the beep.

Breaking News: The reaction time leader right now is Jack Steele on 48s and not far behind is key forward Paddy McCartin on 44s (30s is average)

Fairly amazing for someone less than 6 ft to jump that high in the standing vertical jump test.
With these results I wouldn't be surprised if Cockatoo shoots up in contention.
Also lol at the two Americans who didn't manage to equal Naitanui/Brennan's running vertical jump even though they are four years older than they were when they tested.

This is the sort of information that would be great for the AFL to publish.

What are the records? What are the previous draftees averages? What are the AFL averages? What are the averages for various types of positions?

They really could pretty easily be turned into a much more interesting event by the AFL

Just for your own information the record is:
Standing Vertical Jump - Baynham 88cm (previously Towers 85cm)
Running Vertical Jump - Naitanui/Brennan 102cm

There is also some expectation that Pickett is going to feature in the 20m sprint records somewhere (I believe they are today).
Here is the full list of records:

Yeah, I don't understand why the AFL doesn't publish more information from the combine. It shits me that they only release the top 10 each year.

It would totally help with improving the whole drafting process. They keep trying to build the draft into a bigger event and this is the exact sort of thing they should be building one
