Imagine JZ with that pace and outside game.
Reckon JZ is more around the 93kg mark these days, but yeah, he is a solid unit. Nakia is already Atley like.

Yep, no way Jack is less than 90kgs.

I know everyone craps on about it, but I honestly think it's time Ats moved up field.

In all seriouslyness though, it is only a matter of time. Both he and McDonald were getting wing time later in the year and the progression seems to be that they will end up as part of the rotations at some point. I would like to see Ats add another few kg's of muscle though. He is still quite rangy and probably could do with some more upper body strength before a move up the ground ensues.

all very well moving ats up
but who is the quick bloke in the backline then?
if he is best at it, and I am arguing he is well leave him there
Luke to move into middle ASAP He has better hands than Ats

still a bit baffled by the focus on the quick fwd/mid in the draft
surely our Big Problem is KPD
one of the Main Reasons we lost a Number of Big Games

do posters think Thommo is suddenly going to be able to play on the Monsters, Hansen, Delaney2
where is this KPD coming from?!

Thompson has held Buddy goalless twice, Cloke goalless, Hawkins to be ineffectual. I agree he is undersized, but the key is having a backline that can help him out.

That didn't happen this year when those big forwards got a hold of Thompson. Also, limiting the damage from the midfield helps. The reason that Hawkins went nuts in the semi was because the ball kept going in their forward 50 into space, with little pressure.

We do need a young developing backman (or two), but Thompson, Hansen, and Tippet should see us out over the next 3 years.

Gee I hope so these 2 guys have massive upside imo. Reece will need to wait his turn but Nakia could come straight in next year I reckon.

Wow he's quick for a big bloke. Wouldn't mind if we got him and Nakia with our first two picks, total X factor . We could always get our standard solid half back with 36.

Wow he is quick isnt he. Apparently his calves are huge which is probably where he gets his power from. I agree totally we need guys with X factor, otherwise the teams balance is pretty good. Key defender at 36 would just top us off.

Cant see McKenzie being available at pick 25. I think the Saints will take him at pick 21.
Cockatoo at 16 and Menadue at 25 is what I think could happen.

Oscar McDonald when playing up forward reminds me of Petrie and when down back look like Hansen. He is the brother of Tom who plays at Melbourne. Listed at 196cm. If he is still available at pick 36, hopefully we select him.

Yeah you'd think either carlton essendon or saints would take him before us but he would be worth our pick 25 taking into consideration which midfielders and KPD are left. Pick 36 definitely.

Don't be surprised if one or both of them are at North next year.

There's a better chance of us taking McKenzie than Cockatoo at 16 though imo.

McKenzies this years Aaron Black, but already a big unit, late to footy from basketball.

His combine results marry up pretty well to Nic Nats, he kicked a bag of 10 in the TAC Cup earlier this year, and won the leading goal kicker.

His agility, speed, hand size are elite for his size and weight at his age.

I did hear Terry Wallace I think it was say that this years draft might be better for a KPP than in next year draft which is more for midfielders.

There seems to he a lot of top end KPP talent this year and a few who will figure later. McKenzie is a bit of an unknown given his late switch to footy. He played 10 games at TAC Cup level this year, took 57 shots on goal for 35 goals, took 37 contested marks for a total of 71 marks and also spent time in the ruck with 71 hit outs. His stats show that later in his last 5 games he spent less time in the ruck and more time up forward. In those 5 games he kicked 27 goals and took 48 marks. In short, he dominated once permanently forward. He would be a good get.

Sounds very promising (hopefully Petrie's replacement alongside Brown, l don't think Tarrant can overcome his injuries), what pick do you think, Richmond play funny buggers when it comes to draft picks.

He has a big barge ass, and big tree trunks. He's huge for his height, and will fill out to one of the genuine power forwards in the league, that I have no doubt. He's as big as Hawkins was at the same age. There's genuinely big kids like Boyd and Patton, then there's those like Hawkins and McKenzie, almost like race horses, just powerful through the trunk and core.

From the first time I saw him, he instantly reminded me of Gherig, same dominating persona, huge shoulders, took a heap of contested marks on the lead with little separation. He looks a little shorter than what his height says, but I think that's a bit to do with his legs, makes his body look short.

He will be a bolter draft day imo.

Would our first or second pick be enough?
