Going to be fascinating watching Waylen Manson...

Can clearly see why he's been overlooked, but the talent is obviously there.
Yep will be keen to see how he goes now he doesn't have the 32 year old keeping him motivated like he did during that run, he really got him through it when all he could think about was quitting.

Recruiters were probably put off by the fact he walked out on draft camp due to homesickness & might've put a line through him because the indicators were there he might not be up for it long term.

Johann Wagner, on the Recruit, playing for Tasmans in Port Lincoln. Don't care how he finishes the show, I would love to rookie list the lad, at least look at him!
Agreed even if he doesn't win I think Burgess really liked what he saw from him, I think they said he kicked 8 goals on the day & had elite forwards traits. Could be good cover if we happen to lose Gus for a period of time.

I'm sure we won't be the only club looking at him though given the early signs were pretty bloody good.

Daniel Johncock has the size, athleticism & is the perfect age to be a mature age footy player but jeez he's an arrogant bugger.

it will be interesting to see where Glenn goes in the draft. It might take Ports second pick ... after we pick up Bampton with our first.

West Coast have our second round pick. ;)

Essendon are excluded from this year's first round, yes?
So if we finish ahead of them, we move up one spot.

They lose picks in the first two rounds of the 2014 draft for their part in bringing the game into disrepute for the supplements scandal that has overshadowed this season.

However, the Bombers will get an end of round one selection in the 2014 draft, and can trade back into both the 2013 and 2014 drafts.

End of first round essentially means the first pick in the second round?

I noticed in Knightmares thread thats Watchmans stocks are on the rise again anyone seen West Adelaide reserves play lately?

So for our first round pick, the realistic targets seem to be firming as Blakely, Goddard, Keitel, Lamb? Some nice options there.

Yea absolutely.

If we pick up Griffin and Gorringe type players through trade and, considering who we are likely to delist (Hitchcock, Renouf, Stevenson and Cassisi has retired), any of the above would fit in nicely. Throw in Harrison Wigg, Declan Hamilton and maybe a Conlon type and we are a go.

No Johansen - that means only a few clubs want him tested and is heading for a rookie place.
