Kreuzer is 100% fit and has been training for quite some time. He is not where we would like him to be yet. He is still a developing player and that means every game we can get into him is crucial. It's important for the player to get some games in and finish the season playing to get confidence that it's healed as well.

There is absolutely no point in resting a player who is not injured. It's not fair on the player for a start.

If he does re-do this injury playing then that means that the injury was more than likely going to re-appear down the track any way.

The club (and possibly some other clubs) will want to see if he can get through the last couple of games.

Yarran is injured, Kreuzer is not, there is a difference.

Agreed very similar situation that Thomas was in this year, not injured just needed to find fitness and touch

Did Hendo seriously have his face pulled back? The thought of that is making me sick
He did. Who'd have thought that such a nothing incident ( well it looked like that at the time) would force him to need such extreme surgery. Poor guy.

:thumbsu: If Matty is fit to play, play him.

Foot injuries are a tricky thing but he's had 4 months of rest. If the foot is found to be unstable, better to find out now and take remedial action than find out next March a week before the season.

I thought it was his knee.

As for Doc Larkins
It's that Rohan White doctor. Pretty superficial diagnosis though - he was going off observations.

"Carlton's Dale Thomas may miss the rest of the 2014 season after he went down in last night's game with what looked like an right ankle injury.

Triple M Footy's Dr. Rohan White said the injury was very reminiscent of the ankle injury that kept the Blue out of the 2013 season. "In the last quarter he hobbled off with what i thought was his right ankle," White told Triple M Footy.

"This is the ankle that’s been the problem to him for the last couple of years dating back to 2012 when he had a couple of operations and extensive rehab."

A whole lot of guesswork.
