Forgotten in all this is credit to the Bulldogs.
They did it the hard way, each week was a sudden death final for them and they started with knocking the Storm off at AAMI, than Manly and Penrith. 3 quality teams and going into the finals off the back of a shock final round loss to the Titans where they blew up after half time.
Tonight they were a chance to win, they had experienced GF players and if Ennis had of played the result may have been different. They were in it for the first hour or so but than it was a well deserved party time for the Rabbits

Broadcast ended straight after the final whistle here in Perth
Same as Adelaide.
Hence why all sport needs to be simulcast on Foxtel. Free-to-air cannot do justice to sports coverage.Ditto Adelaide.
I didn't have my hard earned on it but it's fantastic to see him win it. Was a pivotal player and a very gutsy effort with his cheekbone gone

You wonder how they could cut away from such compelling viewing.
Congratulations Souths, thoroughly deserving NRL premiers for 2014. They've told some great stories this club down the years but the story of the last 15 years is an epic one.

The same AFL and channel 7 that shows EVERY Lions and Suns game live in QLD, and EVERY Sydney and GWS game live in NSW, too. Can't complain with that at all.

NRL isn't a national competition. It's not worth their time. Obviously up here in QLD it's still on, but why bother with SA or WA?
I think SA and WA have something similar for their sides

Yeah a shame we didn't get to see the after game celebrations here.
Souths have played a few home games in Perth in recent years and have attracted a bit of a following here.
Great to see the Bunnies get up, Bulldogs were brave but they've had a heap of success over the past 30 odd years so nice to see the underdogs have a win.

Was talking about the production stuff. The 5 hour pre game Luke Darcy wankfest before the afl gf this year. IMO the NRL do that better

Ch9 cut the broadcast right after the trophy was lifted here in Melbourne.

You know the scrum isn't contested anymore don't you?
He was bloodied for a lot of the game. Should've been patched up sooner but I'm guessing the blood rule in NRL is less stringent than AFL?

Was he "actively bleeding". Obviously at some point he was but most of the time it looked like dry or not "bleeding"
