Actually, if I remember correctly, the membership figure on that day in Dec 2007 was under 1,000 and well below the figure of the previous Dec as we all waited to see how the board was going to respond to the AFL's Gold Coast ultimatum.

Not to mention AFL "disequal funding' dedicated to certain off field priority areas, specifically fan development and membership sales/service. A strategic investment that is paying off, as intended.

Tassie games and involvement also significamt.
