Kicking an opponent is not a red card offense in itself. It'd only a red card if the offense itself is deemed as constituting an act of violent conduct and any reasonable person wouldn't see it that way. Which is why Jones issued a yellow card in the first place.
Good to see you blokes getting a decent crowd! Miss the glory crowds of the NSL days.

I agree it wasn't a red but Harper said he should have already been on a yellow so it should have been 2 and off so I'm okay with it. Berisha's whinging was hilarious.

My mistake. I was always under the impression that the yellow card was for Becks and that it was his second yellow.
When I saw it live, admittedly from the other end, I thought it was a red straight away. And, Ben K. should have definitely been booked already when he rugby tackled Risdon in the first half. Risdon was towelling him up so his frustration was hilarious.
Anyway, great game, and a quality three points.

Danny is solid more often than not but sometimes his decision making is a little lacking. He said numerous times that he would move back East once he started having a family and that's what he did so he won't come back. Thought he would've been a good fit Wanderers being from that part of the country and their keeper Redmayne is mediocre at best.

Decent 1st half. Unlucky not to be another 1 up as Harold was onside. At the same time we are lucky to be in front. How Wellington haven't scored I have no idea.
