Dangerfield should get a vote or 2.

37 disposals (Round high/Season high)
9 centre clearances (Round high/Career high)
14 clearances (Round high/Career high)
7 inside 50s (ok they weren't the best but Eddie managed too crumb them finely)
11 hardball gets (Round high)
21 contested possessions (Equal Round high/season high)

Also demonstrated elite outside run broke away from port players (particularly boak) countless times.

If Adelaide get any votes it'll be Thommo IMO. Boak and Gray will get 3 and 2.

Hey guys not sure if there is a thread for this but what do people think about laird being at the front on votes for the club champion award? Surely he has been our most consistent contributor and represents our club values when he plays.

Unexpected, but great - goes in hard and tries his guts out, does his job. Was probably BOG for us tonight.

Speaking of which, I'm probably voting
3 R Laird
2 E Betts
1 M Jaensch

any ideas?

Cant believe we didnt play laird in the back line last year or hardly at all

This weekend's votes:

E Betts 3, S Thompson 2, P Dangerfield 1 - Jaenschy did his ACL, Riewoldt knocked himself the * out and concussed B Smith with the worst attempt at a tackle I've ever seen, and Crows by 41 after scoring 119 again. J Bruce of the Saints unlucky not to get a vote for his 12 marks and 5 goals in a losing side.

Surely Dangerfield doesn't get votes in the weekend. Laird, Bruce, Armitage and even I'd say Mackay were more valuable on the day.

Round 1:

3 - Walker
2 - Dangerfield
1 - Sloane

Round 2:

3 - Dangefield
2 - Sloane
1 - Smith

Round 5:

3 - Gray
2 - Dangerfield
1 - Boak

Round 7:

3 - Betts
2 - Thomson
1 - Dangerfield

Round 8:

3 - Shiel
2 - Griffen
1 - Dangerfield

Round 9:

3 - Dangerfield
2 - Fyfe

Only chance is if Fyfe get's suspended.

Okay, that was a strange one.

I reckon it will be

1 - Dangerfield
2 - Laird
3 - Jenkins

Yes Murphy did alright but they lost. He may get Dangerfield's vote, but... nah.

I had Murphy as best on.

3) Murphy
2) Jenkins
1) Laird

Doubt laird will actually get a vote, umpires didn't rate smith last year for similar/superior games.

3 - Murphy
2 - Jenkins
1 - Dangerfield
