What would you like to see?

For me:

1. Hawthorn and Geelong BOTH to be played at the MCG (not fussed if home or away games - when did this last occur that we played them there?)

2. NO home game Vs Melbourne OR if it must be a home game put it at Etihad.

3. MORE DAY GAMES - Preferably Saturday afternoon

4. If we must have Sunday then give us 1.10pm NOT 4.40pm

5. Once against Richmond is enough. Dream Time will be an away game and the return game against Richmond is often a dead rubber or poorly attended. Much prefer a home game Vs Cats.

Travel
5 Interstate trips
West Coast (not in the scorching heat please), GWS, Adelaide, Brisbane and Gold Coast

Return Matches
X2
- Collingwood, Carlton, Adelaide, Brisbane and Geelong

Season Opener Vs Brisbane at Etihad Saturday afternoon (will be Easter weekend)

Fletch's 400th
Vs Hawthorn at MCG Saturday night blockbuster (home game)

Home Games
MCG home matches
- Collingwood, Carlton, Hawthorn and Geelong
Etihad home matches - Brisbane, Adelaide, Sydney, Western Bulldogs, Fremantle, Port Adelaide and North Melbourne

What would you hope for?

Interstate games West Coast, Adelaide, GWS, Brisbane, Gold Coast.

Return matches vs Carlton, Collingwood, Hawthorn, Gold Coast, Adelaide/West Coast

At Docklands: Gold Coast, Port, Fremantle, Adelaide/West Coast, Western Bulldogs, North Melbourne, Melbourne, Sydney, St. Kilda

At MCG: Carlton x2, Collingwood x2, Richmond, Hawthorn x2, Geelong

Hawthorn at the MCG I can't see happening because of the Etihad deal

Not sure you can have 2 double up games V bottom 6 sides if you are in the middle group - 3 double up from your group - Rich, Pies, Wce, Crows and Suns and 1 from the top 6 and 1 from the bottom 6.

People who bemoan the death of saturday arvo AFL don't realise how much better it is for local footy.

Yes SOME Saturday afternoon games would be nice though, and not having to wait until Round 19 or whatever for one. Hell, even a 1:40pm start on a Sunday would be fine!

The thing is, as a rurally-based member, constant late games are horrible for getting home, regardless if it is by car or public transport.

Freo in Melbourne.

Hawthorn and Geelong at the MCG.

Melbourne at Etihad if it's our home game.

I write this every year and it never, ever happens though.

Can't argue with any of that.

West Coast, Brisbane, GWS, Adelaide and Gold Coast interstate too much to hope for?

Sides ranked 7-12 on the ladder will have a minimum of one double-meeting with sides ranked 1-6 on the ladder and a maximum of two meetings with sides ranked 1-6. They will have a minimum of two double-meetings of sides ranked 7-12 and a maximum of three double-meetings of sides 7-12. They will have a minimum of one double-meeting of sides ranked 13-18 and a maximum of two double-meetings of sides ranked 13-18.

That means that Collingwood, Carlton and Richmond are locked in for return clashes. Carlton is the 13-18 Group and Richmond and Collingwood from the 7-12 group. That leaves a double up clash from the 1-6 group and the last one will either be from the 1-6 group or the 13-18 group.

Last one could be any of the three. You get 1 or 2 from 1-6, 2 or 3 from 7-12 and 1 or 2 from 13-18.

Didn't mind this year's fixture just a couple more sat arvo games next year would be great.

No no no to 7.30 Sunday games (think this has been ruled out by Gill McLaughlan anyway)

Seen a couple of threads talking about the 2015 fixture and thought it would be good to thrash out ideas for your own fixture.

Who Essendon plays twice.
Who Essendon plays in Round 1.
What timeslots are beneficial to the club?
How many 6 day breaks you want.
The day by day breakdown.
Would you want say Essendon vs GWS at the MCG?
Should Essendon play Sydney at the MCG and Melbourne at the Dome?
What rounds would you allocate the byes for?

Those sort of things.

Also, what would your complete draws be?

Saturday 2:10pm

that is all

#givethefootybacktothefans

Saturday 2:10pm @ the G is my favourite time slot, the Friday night games are probably the most beneficial for the club though through exposure & sponsorship.

I just hope the AFL banish the ridiculous Sunday 4:40pm, 7:10pm time slots in 2015.

Away games vs Brisbane and Gold Coast please.
