F***ing Howe.Nev must've copped a fairly big hit, there's now talk of him not playing next week either.
F***ing Howe.
If he had Watts' skill set he would have ducked.
Only on the Melbourne board are jokes battered, bloodied, bruised, beaten to death and then set on fire and flogged again after that.
The horse is dead, stop flogging it.
We know this week's outs but it it aint great when we list them all together...
Round five injury list
Sam Frost (fractured toe) – 8 weeks
Jayden Hunt (back) – 2 weeks
Neville Jetta (concussion) – 1 week
Dean Kent (hamstring) – 12 weeks
Christian Petracca (knee) – season
Jack Trengove (foot) – season
Jack Viney (fractured fibula) – 2-3 weeks
Mitch White (toe) – available
Viney back against Hawthorn would be nice.
Our injury list is pretty amazing. Can't remember a year where we've been this clear.
Sam Frost (toe) – 4-6 weeks
Dean Kent (hamstring) – 10 weeks
Jack Viney (fibula) – 2 weeks
Christian Petracca (knee) – season
Jack Trengove (foot) – season
Dawes, Jetta and Hunt are all on the list but will play this week or next.
Petracca and Kent are irreplaceable on our list though
Wait, a player who hasn't played a game is irreplaceable? Either that's a ridiculous comment or our club is so ridiculous that it could indeed be true. Either way, it's ridiculous.
Lucky we've got plenty of midfield depth.6 of the Best 22 and 4 of them are long term
TOUCH WOOD atleast it hasnt hit our Forwards or backs because we dont have any depth there
"depth"Lucky we've got plenty of midfield depth.
Lucky we've got plenty of midfield depth.
"depth"
Our midfield has depth in the same way the toddlers' splash pool is 0.3m "deep"."Midfield"
Melbourne have been dealt a blow with classy youngster Christian Salem ruled out for up to a month with a hamstring injury.
Salem, 19, suffered the injury during Saturday's 105-point drubbing at the hands of Hawthorn and was subbed out of the game.
"Christian had a scan after the game and it was a reasonable hamstring injury, but we're hoping it's just going to be three to four weeks," performance manager David Misson told the club's website.
