The Usual Suspects: Sydney, Port, Hawks and Freo. I think the top 4 is pretty stock standard, with only North really challenging for that extra spot with Hawthorn. I think the hawks have done in well in 2014 to make another GF given their circumstances; without Clarkson for 6 weeks, injuries, tough draw, aging list. It is a testament to their culture and development of lower draft picks. Port will have another year gaining good experience for there exciting future, but in my opinion this is freos time to shine. There list is primed to make a claim for the premiership, with key personel in Pav, Sandilands and Mundy coming toward the end of there careers, a huge season is needed.
The Future: North, Dogs, Gold coast and Pies. Both McCartney and McKenna (assuming he is still at the helm) will be about to prove their worth next year with a bold move up the ladder. With pressure mounting on both coaches with reasonable lists its a given its finals or bust for the men in charge. Regardless of whether they will still be there in two years time, they are coaching for there lives at this point (much similar to Damien Hardwick in 2013 with the tiges). North will have expected improvement and Collingwood is my wild card for the top 8.
The Surprise: Richmond. As most of you would think they would continue to improve with more games to there younger top picks, I being the curious tiges fan I'm think we are in for a horror year. Call me paranoid, but nothing would be more embarrassing than plummeting to the depths of the bottom of the ladder after 5 years of steady progress. And unfortunately i can imagine it happening. Who else other then us really.
A brief analysis of what I think 2015 has in store for us all. Comment your own ladders and discuss away!!
