Just a nugget of information I picked up today (second hand info), the club turns over 25% of members every year, meaning 1 in 4 people don't resign every year, which is supposedly higher than the average.

Small ceremony with family then spend the $20k+ wedding money or so on a round the world trip. Then the honeymoon money on top of that. Cha ching!

Considering the stuff ups over preseason and basically the worst start possible... the figure isn't too bad.

Expecting massive improvement next year though.

We only had immediate family and partners at ours - 9 people in total.

Still costs a fair packet because a lot of costs are fixed, not variable by number. The big difference is food and drink costs - which is usually offset by the gifts you will recieve.
