Not sure on that one.Though last seasons card after digging it out days it admits into the GA area so that's handy know. Thanks for that I'd have never have thought of it
I assume it will permit you to the GA area at AO like it would at Subi (I assume-it is in Victoria)

Better ask membership though, also report back here because I want to use my card for an AO trip this year.

I get a membership card which scans at the Etihad and the G

I'd assume WA members get the same? So you'd probably just use your card, Adam.
I had to get a ticket sent to Alice Springs for the Melbourne game .Actually now I think of it I may have printed one off when I put my details in to go to the first showdown?i do really have a shite memory.Still best to call the club at anytime and they will put you on the right track.

My son and I had a NSW membership last season ...I just scanned the card at AO for the Sydney game. GA can sit at top of southern stand if seats available. We did the march but then it wasn't a full house that game, as it will be on ANZAC Day

You have already paid for them within your Interstate membership though. No need to pay twice

More comfort levels for a 6 year old and my mother then anything else. Also my Mum and Daughter wanna see the march and be a part of it buying tickets opens that up as to getting into the ground 2 hours early type of thing.Either way we will be in there which is the most important thing

I'm not sure if I'm over-complicating things but I'd have thought you could get to the ground early and scan in for GA, then get a pass-out. Would leave you plenty of time to do whatever, before going up to Rundle Mall for the start of the march.

Keeping pace with last year's growth at this time of year. The gap is pretty constant. Should stay at 10,000+ difference until late March.

Has anyone who is a club 1870 had an initial payment taken out since their first one? I had a part payment deducted from my acct. followed by an email congratulating me on becoming a Magpie season ticket holder.

The only Magpie membership I have is via Club 1870. Thought I'd ask first before contacting the club.

Magpies membership pack yesterday, Power one today. :D

Club 1870 keyring is a thing of beauty.

My Magpies pack consisted of a "generic envelope, a coverletter and a membership card". I probably should've 'chased the add-ons.

Has anyone with a seat change request been contacted by the club yet? If so what existing category of member are you?
I haven't but I'm not really holding out much hope. I don't want to change my seat, just my status. I want to go from silver A to a GF guarantee(don't mind which one). And originally the mailout we received said they expected seat change requests to be finalised by early February. But remember this was with a renewal deadline of 191214, as it was extended another 26 days to 140115 it seems logical to extend the seat change request finalisation by 26 days. So we may be looking at early March now.

In the same boat. I'm Essential Power Gold West.....asked to upgrade category to Club 1870 Essential or Essential Power Platinum.

I have much hope, just not any expectation.

[QUOTE"AdamMarrett, post: 36874065, member: 153194"]Yeah right good idea that.[/QUOTE]
Last year (for the showdown anyway) you had the option of upgrading your GA to something seated for a price. I paid about $15 to get a seat on l2 in riverbank on the 50 arc. 2nd match I attended I just got there early. Worth calling the club to see if the first option will be available this yr.

You just do the $50 upgrade like me. No sticker or anything, just a card.....in a ridiculously oversized envelope, leaving you wondering what else was supposed to be in there.

Yeah, I got excited. I might fish it out of the bin later and look inside again

I have no idea where to ask this, so I'm you guys can help me out...

I'm planning on going to see Collingwood vs Port in July, and I have some questions...

- How do I go about tickets? I contacted Collingwood and they said since I'm not an interstate member (I live in Victoria) I have to be general public. So what sort of seats would I get if I'm general public?

-Do members of participating clubs get a couple of days head start on buying tickets before they go on-sale to the general public?

Thanks :D

Roughly 3 years ago I received an oversized envelope with 4 free tickets to ever Port game that season. No letter. Not even a note. Still to this day I have no idea who sent those tickets or why.. But I made sure every one of those went to good use.
