Would be great if we can hit 50,000 by Christmas. Though I think 48,000~49,000 is more realistic (Which isn't too bad in itself).

Explains the prison bars on their guernseys. If you go to jail don't you automatically become an associate member of the pies - this could explain their huge membership
What are they selling besides memberships (and hope) in that?Melbourne 7th on the ladder. That is amazing.

I was hoping you would like to tart it upWell go ahead and add one
Or "We are the navy blue army" (with crowd shot in background)...why is there a Richmond army, a Collingwood army but not a Carlton one when Carlton is technically the 2nd most supported club in the league?
Is it to get to 50,000 members. How can Richmond get over 50,000 members but Carlton can't?
How come they keep referring to "The Tiger Army" when there are more people and supporters for Carlton? I have never heard them say the "Blue Army". Perhaps our cheer squad is looking a bit thin on the ground and that reflects in the whole message, whilst their cheer squad has plenty of banners etc..
One thing we can learn from that is the importance of fan engagement. They call their fan section the "Yellow wall" - why can't we call the Carlton one "The Blue Wall" - there has to be some way to reengage what we term the cheer squad...make it larger, make it more attractive to join. The Richmond one looks much larger - why?
