Some interesting matches on tonight.

Federer vs. Chardy: You'd think an easy enough win for Fed, but Chardy defeated him last year in Rome.
Tsonga vs. Goffin: Tsonga looked a bit rusty against Struff, and Goffin is a step up in class.
Monfils vs Dolgopolov should be a fun match.
Fognini vs. Dimitrov too. You never know which Fognini will turn up, but hopefully Grigor gets the win.

Watching a very rusty Federer against Monfils. Monfils is playing lights out and just clocked Roger with a 207km forehand.

On Dimitrov, Rasheed has done wonders for his fitness but not for his tennis skills. Rasheed is not a tennis coach but a fitness guru. I think Dimitrov needs to find another coach.

Commentators mentioned the conditions are heavy today. So far 2 very disappointing 1/4 finals. Dimitrov was really poor, mistiming his backhand nearly every rally.

Commentator just mentioned this is the first time in 263 matches that Nadal has entered a match on clay as the underdog. V Fed in 2006 at Monte Carlo was the last time (exactly nine years ago).

Looks on track to finally complete the career slam at the French this year. Really hope he does. Great win.

Best I've seen Nadal play this year, but Novak is just on another level at the moment. Simply beautiful tennis to watch.

Still have my doubts whether he can no it against Rafa on the dirt in Paris over 5 sets, but I bloody hope he can.
