Miller down. I fear he may've gone up a touch early.

Nah. That would be a concern if he were looking like Alex Marquez. Jack's doing fine, already consistently running near the front of the open class. Just needs more experience in different conditions and won't get that on a Moto2 bike.

All the Hondas were struggling with front end grip. Crutchlow binned it too...

Yep. Pedrosa, Crutchlow, Redding, Miller all crashed and Marquez was running off the track everywhere trying to save the front. Although out of all the Honda front end loses, Crutchlows was actually caused when his foot slipped off the peg and the resultant shift in body weight caused him to grab the brake harder and lock the front wheel. The Honda didn't react well to the higher track temps at all.

Was a fairly entertaining evening of racing.

Moto3 was at it's very best, 15+ riders in the lead pack for most of the race, all of the top three were back at the tail end of the points at times during the race. Wrapt for Miguel Oliveira, the first Portugese to win a GP. Well deserved, he's been close a few times. Kent is running an intelligent championship, keeps extending his lead and is always up there. Fenati finally has found some form and consistency. Hopefully he can keep it up and challenge Kent. Disappointed to see Quartararo crash out again.

Moto2 was a bit of a snooze - again - except for the crashes. Luthi and Folger are really destroying realistic title hopes with too many crashes.

MotoGP was a belter - for second. Lorenzo is at another level at the moment, no one can touch him. Iannone is riding beautifully. He always had amazing speed, the equal of Marquez, but he could never get the consistency. He'd obliterate the opposition one week then finish out of the points the next. Well it looks like he's really maturing, that was a massive effort to fight to second place with a cracked shoulder. He rode perfect.
Marquez got the start I expected (predicted he'd be 6th after the first corner, was thereabouts), somewhat reckless but in control somehow and blitzed in the early going but crashing out again leaves him 49 points off the lead and with a mountain to climb to retain his title. Honda have massive problems at them moment, their riders crashing everywhere with a lack of grip, unforunately Miller included. Hopefully they get sorted soon.
Dovi out with a broken rear sprocket. Bizarre.
Rossi early days looked like he was really struggling. I expected a Marquez type start for him but he was well down for quite a long time but then his promise of good race came true.
Maverick Vinales has his best rise finishing a strong seventh. This kid is pretty special and doing a great job in his rookie season.

What looked like a 4-way battle royale for the championship has quickly become a two-horse race.

Marquez is learning what it's like to not have the best bike on the grid for the first time. Good development for his race craft - if he doesn't destroy himself in the meantime.
Lorenzo has the fields measure at the moment. Rossi had the race pace to go with him but will struggle until/if he can sort out his qualifying issues. Not going to beat George often spotting him a couple of second head start every race.
The Suzukis were impressive (except off the line). Aleix Espargaro rode very well to fourth, it was a shame to crash only a few laps from the end. Vinales very impressive too, the kid is a star.
Nice strong ride from Iannone after a poor qualifying.
Really happy for Miller, rode a good solid race. More finishes like this please.

Johann Zarco has really surprised me this year. His race yesterday was superb. Never expected anyone to challenge Rabat and Rins as the race wore on but Zarco really found some pace, looks every bit the title favourite at the moment. Really happy for Rins to get a good result, he has great speed, just needs to stop crashing so much. Also good to see Rabat back in form.

Kent is the class of Moto3 this year, you can clearly see the racecraft advantage has from his extra experience. Another perfectly timed attack from him. Bastianini is doing a terrific job, surely a future champ. It's funny (and I feel a bit sorry for him) seeing him on the podium unable to spray the champers because he's underage!

What was the thinking behind Bradl's move off of the Honda.
He looked primed for a big time ride this time last year. Now he's struggling for top 10s.
