Hard to tell who's going to win what due to never really playing full strength sides. I'm excited for the games in regional areas though over the next few weeks - hopefully they get a good turnout.

Why are there 2 games on at the same time on Saturday and Sunday??? Why not put one of them in Saturday night slot and other Sunday night so all of the games can be shown on TV.

They're playing in 'community' venues, so lights are probably inadequate.

I'd just like to point out that the Brisbane Lions are still technically the reigning "NAB Cup" champions and we always will be ;)

* me there's some deadset numbskull scheduling. Mandurah game at 4pm on a Friday? Who the hell is going to be able to get down there for that? I note Freo's first game is at 4pm on a Thursday as well.

Do they think no-one works over here?

TV - with no daylight savings in Perth the game starts at 7pm in Eastern states.

Perfect for Fox Footy

It was the same with the Scorchers BBL games too.

Even if it is only pre season, the Hawks Vs Magpies crowd at Aurora will be interesting, since they have longed for a bigger Victorian club to come and play in Tassie against Hawthorn for so long.

As excited as I am for the footy pre-season to start, I know that after the first few games I'll be bored out of my mind and wanting 'real' footy to start.

There's only so many games filled with rookies and new draftees you can watch before wanting to neck yourself.

go easy mate st kilda aren't that bad

What's the best alternative to FoxFooty? Will that $89 annual subscription via AFL Live app be showing it?
Goddamn I've missed footy.
