Score isn't an issue, just hoping Martin & Bennell got through unscathed.

Bennell played the full game 37 disposals 7 mark 1 Goal 1. Jack Martin also played a full game got a knock to the head early in the 3rd quarter and stayed off for about 20 odd minutes but he was fine played out the rest of the game, ended up with 16 disposals 5 marks
Didn't hurt them finishing on or near the bottom for the first three years of their existence to score a few more top draft picks either.

Look out, General Pest will be on your case.
I've already argued fruitlessly with a few of their supporters who are convinced they've received no more concessions than we did. Those six extra first round picks from the mini-draft don't count in the equation apparently. Nearly as deluded as some Essendon fans that lot. Rocket said we had something like 8 listed players compared to their 20 out there today.

As others have mentioned very lopsided in listed players playing and it showed , almost all of our 7 academy players playing struggled and had no influence.
Bennell - As you would expect Harley had a good game , worked hard but was alone in the midfield.
Schade - Cant believe how much he has grown as a footbsall player from this time last year , polar opposite , really vocal on the park and has a precence in the backline , went onto Patton late who by the way is a man mountain.
Martin - Really liked Jacks game , was crunched a couple of times throughout the game which saw him miss a bit of gametime , can see him back in seniors next week.
Gorringe - WAatched him closely yesterday , he looks really unfit , which makes it look like he has no effort , his game has zero 2nd effort , not sure what has happened but is sad to see from a guy we had high expectations for.
Buderick - Really struggled after playing a good game last week , was moved late to the forward line.
Boston - a lot queiter from him , not sure if he is carring an injury , seemed unhindered.
Leslie - played on Patton who is a beast , ball was bombarded down there with some great service from the Giants mids , hard day at the office for Jack.
Brooksby has been so good in the magoos all year , was down today though.

Harley's performance shows how good he is. In a team flogged by 20 goals he still racked up more disposals than any other player on the ground.
Good luck to the Giants though. They didn't write their concessions. After the Suns and Lions, they're the team I most want to see do well. With that depth of talent I can't see them not succeeding. They'll lose / trade out a few player this year for some more early draft picks. They just have so much currency to play with it's incredible. Their early draft picks from previous years hold their value because they just can't get a game, whereas ours like Gorringe have devalued because they can't get a senior game.

So your're saying he is banned from playing this week due to suspension ?? but missed on Saturday because he was unfit , so he's suspension has sought of skipped a week has it ? hmmm interesting.
his suspension is from playing seniors..
He wasnt available for selection to play seniors this weekend for fitness issues..
So his suspension will be this weekend..

Eade doesnt hand out senior spots now unless you've come through the NEAFL with good form. Or you've only missed a week or 2.
Martin missed a few weeks.. Came back and lasted 2mins..
