Had goose bumps in those final 20 seconds. Great moment. Considering how mediocre Essendon has been for the last decade and how they'll continue to be, and with the 2000 flag being 15 years ago, this is something I'll treasure for a while.
What a journey over the last 8 months. Felt like we were on cruise control for most of the regular season, thought perhaps our season might've been over when the diagnosis was Kane might be back until the WCF, if we made it that far. At one point right at the end there it looked like the Wild were going to jump us, and bump us down into a Wild card spot.
Didn't get to see a playoff game in the flesh, but I did see two games in the regular season, and I'm pretty stoked I got to see them in person in a Cup winning year.
