Kedron finishing 3rd, then dropping down 2 divisions for a flag, then miraculously having enough for 2 teams 12 months later is an eye opener...

At the end of the day though, footy is simply stronger in the southern suburbs of Brisbane, so the regionally based system was never going to work, especially in what is supposed to be Div 2 footy.

Div 3 and 4 should be the regionally based comps, not Div 2.

Would have thought you'd recall what happened last year??
They made no secret of mass exits but trying to regroup and move up

Depends who you talk to.

they asked to move from QFA North to QAFA A originally. Which is obviously not a numbers issue.

When they were knocked back from going to QAFA A they spat the dummy and dropped to QAFA B and claimed it had always been about numbers.

You don't ask to move from a regional 2 team comp, to a lower level 2 team comp with signficantly more travel because you don't have numbers...
