That should do it easily, a few weeks ago the discussion was a straight swap of Rivers for pick 2. Rivers is a top QB with 5+ years left in his career, a team in the market for a QB (like the Titans are) would have to look at that trade.
5 years left in him? Maybe but how good will those 5 years be?? Better off taking Mariota if they don't want to persist with Mettenberger

But there's always concerns with the unknown QB, and it's not like Mariota is the slam dunk prospect that Luck was. Plus you don't have to go through the development years (on a very bad team) finding out, if they get Rivers they can probably build for a good run within 3.

And if the Titans get 17 back they can still draft a good player. Maybe even Todd Gurley.

TFY Draft Insider Tony Pauline reports the Browns are the "front runners" to trade up and acquire Oregon QB Marcus Mariota.

This, of course, assumes the Bucs select Jameis Winston at No. 1 overall. According to Pauline, who is one of the kings of the pre-draft process, the Titans asked for the Browns Nos. 12 and 19 selections in the first round, as well as Cleveland's second-round pick in order to move up to No. 2 overall. The Browns turned them down. That's not an out-of-hand asking price from the Titans.

TFY Draft Insider Tony Pauline reports the Rams "love" Mississippi State ILB Benardrick McKinney.

McKinney is huge at 6-foot-4 and 246 pounds. He's believed by some to be a fringe first- or second-round prospect and checks in as Rotoworld draft guru Josh Norris' No. 4 off-ball linebacker. Pauline also reports the Broncos are eyeing McKinney. In the Rams' 4-3, McKinney could start out at strong-side linebacker before eventually replacing overpaid and overrated MLB James Laurinaitis.

I'm not sure whether I want the Jets to use their first pick on the draft on a RB coming off an ACL, even if it is someone with the talent of Gurley. RB is not as great a need for the Jets as other positions (WR, OLB, QB) and there is enough talent at the top end of the draft in those positions that the Jets could comfortably take BPA and still end up with a player who can fill a hole on the roster.

In a poll of 19 NFL executives done by the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel, 10 named USC DT Leonard Williams as the No. 1 player in the 2015 draft.

Alabama WR Amari Cooper finished a distant second with four votes. Oregon QB Marcus Mariota (2 1/2) was third, Florida DE/OLB Dante Fowler and Wisconsin RB Melvin Gordon each received one vote, and Georgia RB Todd Gurley got the final half-vote. (Notice Jameis Winston received no first-place votes.) Although there has been some recent scuttlebutt of Williams falling in the draft, it's hard to imagine him getting past the Raiders at No. 4 or Redskins at No. 5. And Williams could still easily go second overall to the Titans.

In a poll of 19 NFL scouts, 12 named Alabama's Amari Cooper the premier wide receiver in the 2015 draft class.

He beat out West Virginia's Kevin White, who received the other seven first-place votes. Using a "points" system based on votes from the scouts, the Journal-Sentinel rated Louisville's DeVante Parker No. 3 among wide receivers, USC's Nelson Agholor No. 4, and UCF's Breshad Perriman No. 5. Jaelen Strong, Dorial Green-Beckham, and Devin Funchess rounded out the top eight.

In a poll of 19 scouts, Dorial Green-Beckham received 7 1/2 votes as this year's draft-eligible wide receiver most likely to bust.

Michigan's Devin Funchess came in second with 3 1/2 votes as likeliest to bust, while UCF's Breshad Perriman garnered three votes and Auburn's Sammie Coates two. Green-Beckham's off-field issues have been well documented, though NFL personnel seem to have positive takeaways when they encounter him on a personal level. Whether DGB goes in the first round remains to be seen.

That's outrageous. That list is enough to make me not want to read the article - but I'm curious as to what methodology could possibly have Gabbert ahead of Tannehill. On exposed form and talent, he'd be behind Bortles, Locker and Bridgewater as well.

Probably wonderlic, as Gabbert had one of the highest ever recorded

Gabbert at 5 and Russell Wilson nowhere to be seen.

First Round Qb's from last five drafts

Ah, missed the 'first round' part. Still, considering Wilson's slide, his grading probably wasn't that good anyway, which is still amusing.

Really?

Gabbert has all the tools, just not a whole lot between the ears

Tannehill was RAW and had only recently converted from WR to QB
