Swallow isn't going anywhere, he's far too important to our side. Take the captaincy off him, it's a burden, and give it to a more natural leader (Ziebell), but it would be crazy to trade him.

Motlops a gun. Exactly the type of offensive player we need. Young enough to still offer scope for improvement. I would be going hard to get him across to north.

I'd prefer him to stay at essendon, almost a guaranteed 4 goals for BBB when he plays on him. Would be keen on Anderson, Hartung and Freeman.

Why do people keep mentioning Aish?

We're trying to raise performance standards yet we're talking about a seemingly homesick SA kid who appears to think he doesn't need to put in week to week for his current club?

I'm definitely on the Hartung train. He'd cost a lot less than Motlop and he could easily become the better player. He'll never become a physical player, he'll most likely always provide very little to a team that isn't going well and he isn't going to provide much defensive pressure, but he has potential to be one of the most damaging players in the AFL.

While I'd obviously prefer to keep Tarrant, if he wants to go to Hawthorn then getting Hartung in return would be an incredible result.
