Carlisle can actually play as a key position defender. Lachie not so much. More a tall flanker.

Motlop treloar are the kinda guys that will get us close to a premiership aswell as future there only 23 and 24 that speeds up the rebuild.
Also gives us a genuine star which north havent had one for a while now.
Hansen black thomas and bastinac all have value but dont consistently play week in week out. We have stuck with them for a long time now and none are consistent. Trade them out for a few xfactors or another couple of promising young kids and we will be right there.

Yeah sure, just put 8 years of development into a raw KPD to only trade him out after 2 years of finally playing good consistent footy.

I'm sure Hansen won't be traded. Just wouldn't make sense.

Interesting year to be going full trade master considering its a shallow draft. Likely that Harps/McKenzie will be offered one year deals, otherwise we will be the only team selecting in rounds 7, 8 and 9 of the draft.

He ain't a KPD.

He is an elite intercept player though, so maybe the logic is to move Hunter to that position, or to train Durdin up to do that.

Either way our young guys cunners, ziebell, atley, macmillan, wright. None have become a grade players or pushing to be a superstar there all just solid atm. Other clubs young kids are all becoming stars very quickly so we need to add a couple of them to match them for the next few yrs. Bulldogs richmond nd collingwood are overtaking us quickly we wont be winning a premiership anytime soon until we make some big decisions to get a few of them.

Top 3 could be stars 2 probably already are crozier sheridan would come cheapish. both have ability can only get better north need some around that age and we will contend or be there abouts for a while longer. If we dont we will be bottom 4 for a while when our older guys retire
