reported this morning gorringe and smith from the suns could be apart of the deal to get dangerfield to geelong. anyone willing to give this one a go? haha
Hm.

Adelaide lose: Dangerfield, pick 50
Adelaide gain: Gorringe, pick 9, 2016 first round pick

Geelong lose: Picks 9, 28, 2016 first round pick
Geelong gain: Smith, Dangerfield

Gold Coast lose: Gorringe, Smith
Gold Coast gain: Picks 28, 50

I think it works out fairly evenly. Except maybe Adelaide.

I hope not. A first rounder, a negligible upgrade of our third rounder, a late pick in a shallow draft and two spuds we shouldn't pay anything for in exchange for Dangerfield and a downgrade of our second rounder. Not sure Geelong could do that either considering how many list spots they need filling.

I prefer eth-dog's trade, but hopefully we're not getting Gorringe who's on the delist pile at the club that finished 16th. Requested a trade to Port last year should have burnt his bridges with us, and he has done squat since. We're far better off with Jacobs, O'Brien and even Lowden.

Carlton will most likely receive Geelongs 2016 first round pick for Henderson in a trade by itself.

Also these 4-5 team trades with several picks and players going everywhere are both ridiculous and extremely unrealistic.

Ben kennedy to melbourne
Collingwood receive 2nd rd pick

Seedsman to GC
Collingwood receive 2nd rd pick

Freeman to stkilda
Collingwood receive 2nd rd pick

Treloar to collingwood
GWS receive 1st rd pick, 2x2nd rd pick

Aish to collingwood
Brisbane receive oxley, 2nd rd pick

Yeah, so, Aish Pick 7 and 30 odd games played, Freeman pick 10 and no games played, therefore Aish is worth fractionally more. Makes sense.

That a pick 7 player who, if not injured, would've played more games this season is only worth a late 20's pick and a kid who has one good game a year. Looks like a fantastic trade, from YOUR end.

So what you're saying Beng is injuries are an excuse for Aish not playing more games and therefore he should attract a high value trade, yet at the same time Freeman isn't worth anything near the same value because he hasn't played games due to injuries?

For mine Freeman not playing games is actually better than playing games and not being up to standard (I'm not saying this is the case with Aish). Freeman can only be judged on the talent that made him pick 10 and a medical report. A second round pick is unders, not by much but it's still less than his value. Balme's view is while we don't like Freeman's decision it's his to make, we'll respect that and take a bit less.

More and more we're seeing the destination club getting the better end of the trade as a Brisbane fan you'd know that too well. Likewise as a 'pies fan I seen that with the Beams' trade. We got the best deal we could, but it was still unders. We lost an A grade All Australian mid and there's no guarantee any of DeGoey, Crisp or Greenwood will reach that level of footy. It's swings and roundabouts really.

Brisbane getting screwed again I see

Surely after the Treleor deal goes through GWS offer GC 7 & 8 for 3 and 22.

The first two in the draft are locks, GWS can pass on their own academy player and get a gun at 3 and their academy players later - they'll have heaps of currency once they release their fringe players. Gold Coast would go into the draft with 7, 8, probably 10 (PA trade for Dixon) and 19 and that's before they shop Smith, Bennell and Gorringe.

Adelaide lose: Sam kerridge and pick 9 and 28
Gain: Tim o'brian and Bryce gibbs

Hawthorn lose: John ceglar, Tim O'brian
Gain Casboult

Carlton lose: Casboult and gibbs

THEN

GWS trade- tomilson, plowman, sumner, lamb
Gain- pick 9, 20 and 28

If you mean, has been injured, then sure. Has had a few injuries this season. Will not be traded.
No major issues this season, was and still is stuck behind Cameron, Patton, McCarthy (providing he doesn't leave), Haynes and buntine

Different positions. On basic terms Tomlinson is a tall winger, he will be at GWS. You don't sell him at his lowest point. Under contract, required.
