Nice job on these

Few blokes very keen to see how they go;

Leigh Kitchin - Was a v handy VFL player and seems to have started well.

Ryan Lim - I thought unlucky not to be rookied. Be good to see him go well.

Shane Yarran - I really thought a club should have been bolder in the rookie draft and picked him. First couple rounds hasnt disappointed

Aaron Black - Seeminly like Nelson but gosh he is a player for mine.

Tom Ledger - Always thought could play and looks like going well.

IMO Yarran is the only one there likely to get an opportunity through the draft.

Huge fan of Black, but if clubs passed on him last year after he was so damn good all year why would they go for him now?

Kitchin has impressed me and is no doubt of a high quality, but is he what AFL clubs are looking for? Same sort of deal with Ledger, although his form has been a bit patchy since coming back to the WAFL.

Not sure I see what you see with Lim. Good size and can run, but even at colts level felt his kicking and game sense could be sub standard (in the sense of comparing him to the other national championship level players).

That took ages around 6 weeks

east perth apparently cracked the sads, probably amplified by the talls shortage at WCE (their AFL host). will be very interesting to see how he goes over the course of the year, as he didnt get the chance to play seniors last year

Great to see Hampson back and dominating again. Hope he does get a chance one day although is most likely a bit too small and slight for clubs to see him as being effective in the AFL.

McKenna is an excellent story. Carried the Peel reserves for a few years and surprisingly only managed the odd game or two in the seniors there despite doing well when given the opportunity. Thriving over at Lathlain. Lacks the polish or pace for the AFL I suspect, but can certainly go on to have a more than fulfilling WAFL career.

IMO Yarran is the only one there likely to get an opportunity through the draft.

Yarran has the talent to play AFL but won't be picked up IMO due to a number of reasons. Currently, Tropiano is the only one worth looking at - I was impressed with what I saw a few weeks ago.
