Both Jasika and Smith lost their QF's in that challenger. Duckworth has made a semi of a $50k in Mexico. Bolt actually lost in that Mornintong futures event to Statham and plays Barton in the final tomorrow.

Kubler has made the QF of Sarasota and will play a qualifier Olivo. Should be an interesting race between Bolt and Kubler for the French Open WC with Smith also a chance (if Thanasi makes the main draw direct).

Kubler has had a poor start to the year, almost made me think he was battling something with his results, this is the first week where he has won some decent matches. The WC if he can a huge week here though.

Sam Groth through to he final of a challenger event in Taipei. Matt Ebden made the semis there. And Gavin Van Peperzeel has made the final of An-Ning. Ranked at 458 he will take on Franko Skugor ranked 547.

Almost a blight on the game that Gavin made a challenger level. Sad to say but he's no way near that standard.

Nice to see Sam make use of smart scheduling

Really hope Kokkinakis does well in the Bordeaux challenger coming up this week, he's improved lots this year and hopefully he can go far into this tournament to reward his hard work.... If he qualifies of course haha :D

Yep, really good week for Kokkanksis, a nice bunch of points to boost him into Wimbledon main draw. We're going to have 6 direct (plus Lleyton) at Wimby this year. Apart from Matosevic, really good for Australian tennis.

Great news for the Aussie boys inside the top 100. Career high rankings for Tomic (24), Kyrgios (25), Groth (66) and Kokkinakis (69).

It would be huge for Tomic and Kyrgios if they can both sneak into the top 24. If you are seeded 24 or better, you avoid a top 8 seed in the 3rd round at Wimbledon. Tomic is playing this week and can solidify his position at 24, while Kyrgios will only have 1 tournament to improve his ranking before seedings are decided.

Jasika won a futures event as well going up to 328. Shame Saville didn't win because Groth is already pretty entrenched in top 100 for now. Saville qualified last year and beat Thiem so hopefully he can defend his points one way or another.
