It's like as if football codes love controversy. AFL with Essendon, NRL with Pearce, Football with flares and under age girls.

Heart sank when I saw Stokes and Kelly in the red and black. Hard seeing our former champs running around in different jumpers.

Glancing at the papers it seems a number of ex-Carlton players just aren't fit enough for their new clubs, with the new Blues coaching staff also trying to improve the state of things. The Dees had this problem as well a few years ago. Fingers crossed Henderson has been re-wired OK.

But it also makes one question if Malthouse should be given coaching duties to the Bomber-druggies. They may be worse off.

The AFL has protected the cheats long enough

I wish AFL could afford a second tier competition with league relegations and promotions like EPL. It would kick out cheats like Carlton and Essendon this year too which is a bonus. But then they'd be back the next year

Shame it has less than 0.01% probability to ever happen.

I can't believe clangermakers is a premiership player.

So many great players miss out on premierships and yet a plodder like him has one.

I think he sorted himself out once he was played in the correct position.

Any player that comes back from a knee reco to achieve success deserves all the accolades they draw.

That said, all you blokes - with very few exceptions - were eating him alive from 2011 - 2014.

Not saying he does not deserve the Medal - he made the 22 - but id like to see a more maligned player from your lot in the same period.

He is thoroughly deserving of his Premiership Medal, as he played in a winning Grand Final side.

He doesn't deserve to be considered a good player just because he has that medal though.

I've only felt there is 1 player in AFL history who didn't deserve their Premiership Medal, and that's Leon Davis.

If you are good enough to earn your spot in the winning Grand Final side, you deserve your medal, regardless of performance.
You can be lucky to be there, like Cam was in 99, but you still deserve your medal.
