Parto is leading East Perth and 11th in the WAFL for disposals this season with 200 from 7 games, so far.

That averages out to about 28 (!) per game. That's up from 20.5 in 2016. Good stuff, young man.

I'm just going to run with this on the assumption that he'll be picked to debut this weekend. He bloody well should be, his WAFL form is about as good as you could expect from a potential debutant.

If picked, Parto will become the 234th Eagle, the second Luke (the other one will be acting captain this week), just the fourth player to wear the famous #24 (behind Woosh, Rosa and a brief cameo by Phil Read) and as far as I can tell the first Eagle to come from SA powerhouse Norwood, which is a bit of a surprise.

Since we haven't debuted anyone else since this post (or in living memory) all of the above will still be accurate when Partitime starts on Sunday.

Well done young fella, congratulations on getting a senior game. Hopefully the first steps in a long and successful career.

Looks like an exciting year ahead for Parto with new midfield opportunities opening up after the retirements of Priddis and Mitchell.

I'm pleased to sponsor him in 2018 and look forward to watching him develop further and make the progression from consistent WAFL ball accumulator in 2017 to regular AFL contributor under the tutelage of Mitch and Van Berlo.
