His exit interview from North - Not bad..:thumbsu:

Lets hope he can provide Jack with some much needed support so our forward line can function a lot better. Accuracy is a forte of Edwards and when he gets a chance rarely misses as he is a beautiful kick of the footy.

Been one of the standouts at training so far from reports and is expected to make a pretty big impact with the main attention going to Jack and Tyrone.
30 goals plus for me this season unless he gets pushed out by one of the young guys which will make us stronger with good competition for spots.

Great read , very informative , to the point and not afraid to mention his mister meaners . Astute pick by the club , he's going to get a fair crack at some senior footy this year and could most probably be an inspiring pick like Maric last year.

Will done Wang now pm me your sisters number. Why should deanbigfooty have all the fun.

Azza doing what needs to be done in the Magoos to put his hand up for selection when his chance comes as per the below match report..

A best-afield performance by Richmond recruit Chris Knights helped Coburg to a first-up win in the VFL yesterday.

Knights collected 41 disposals, had eight clearances, eight inside 50s and kicked a goal in the Tigers’ 32-point win over Sandringham.
The Coburg team consisted mostly of Richmond-listed players, many of whom were influential in the result.

Up forward, Aaron Edwards (four goals and 17 disposals), Liam McBean (four goals) and Todd Elton (three goals) were a constant threat, and recently-elevated rookie Orren Stephenson was brilliant in the ruck, with 35 hitouts.

Coburg’s midfield brigade also shone, including Brad Helbig (26 touches), Matt White (26) and Robin Nahas (22 disposals and six tackles).

First-year recruit Nick Vlastuin had a solid VFL debut, picking up 16 disposals and laying six tackles.

Coburg takes on Williamstown in Round 2, this Saturday, April 13, at 1.10pm.

It was a great debut from Aaron Edwards on Monday night! He made leads out of our attacking 50, to give our midfielders another target to kick to. He then used his foot skills to help set other players up on the run. He deserves a lot of credit for his defensive game as well. He was heavily criticised by people on here (including me) that his defensive efforts weren't good enough. It looks like he has worked on this aspect of his game and he laid some solid tackles against the Eagles. His strong tackling set up his first goal for Richmond. He did what McGuane didn't do enough of recently provide, defensive pressure, make contests and kick goals.

Hopefully Edwards will keep this good form up, while our young talls develop.

I was very happy to see him give a solid debut. Had watched him at coburg and was very impressed. Had talked him up to other tigers supporters so when he delivered it was double satisfying (actually triple due to the way we tore em apart).
Hopefully he builds on that performance and helps us achieve success.
