It was great to see the coaches put him in the middle. probably a good tagger option against big bodied mids (in the absence of hocking).
I've wondered that too. Given how hard he is at the contest, I wonder if he'd be capable of a clearance or two.

Put him back into the reserves and develop him as an inside midfielder. He could end up a real weapon.

Even when he plays forward as a forward it's not enough to keep Laverde and Langford out of the team (given the sorts of piss taking those boys have been doing in the VFL).

We are a worse side when he's not working off half forward. However, I agree with Bruno that we should be playing Laverde and Langford.

Ambrose could be a real weapon as an inside mid. With Watson, Myers and Hocking out his size will be very helpful. Play him as a tagger to learn the caper. Even if he doesn't turn out as a tagger or mid he'll learn a lot.

No matter what playing him as a ruckman is just stupid.

Have defended him when he has played half forward as he works his arse off but the last few weeks have been ordinary and we should not be playing him second ruck. Agree with Bruno to a degree, get him back in the seconds and let him play midfield for a while, maybe as a run with player. Will say we need to be careful with Langford and Laverede, both doing well but both are suspect in the stamina department at the moment so they would need to be rested after a few games.

We want him to play midfield now after playing forward and ruck...

Park him forward and let him develop. He's young, we have nothing else. Jake may be leaving and he should be playing back regardless.

We want to give our kids more games yet he's played 26 and we want to send him back.

Ambrose's biggest problem is his speed. He might be one of the fittest at the club but seems to get beaten to the contest a lot. Worth perservering with though.
