Games: 17
Goals: 9

Summary:
After his breakout season in 2013, Mullett was always going to receive more attention from the opposition in his fourth year on the list. He started the year well, among North's best in Round 1 against Essendon with 22 possessions, six marks and five tackles. In Round 3, Mullett hit the scoreboard, kicking two goals from 22 disposals and eight marks against Port Adelaide. A week later, Mullett was quiet, picking up just eight touches, but managed another two goal effort. His form fluctuated over the following three weeks, before he was a late omission to the team that destroyed Brisbane in Round 9.

He was back in Round 11 against West Coast, performing solidly with 19 possessions. In Round 14 against Melbourne, Mullett again booted two goals, but was dropped a week later as North struggled from the fall-out of a disappointing loss to Brisbane. He was back after just one week, gathering a disappointing nine touches against St Kilda, again losing his place in the team. Following another inconsistent team performance, Mullett regained his spot in Round 19 against Geelong, where he was subbed out with just seven disposals to his name. He survived for one more week, starting with the green vest against Greater Western Sydney, before losing his place.

After missing North's win over the Western Bulldogs in Round 21, Mullett was an inclusion to the team to take on the Crows in Hobart. With a solid display, he played in the final round of the season against Melbourne, collecting 18 possessions, taking four marks and kicking a goal. However, with his defensive capabalities not up to scratch, he was dropped for the finals series. For the second time in his career, he has played in North's final game of the season before losing his place to play in September, and supporters will be hoping it spurs him on in 2015.

Initially it appeared that Mullett had shrugged off his interrupted pre-season to recapture the form of 2013.

It’s been a frustrating season for Aaron Mullett. Unable to replicate the form of 2013 which saw him finish fourth in the NAB Rising Star, the left-footer has been in and out of the side in the second half of the year.

Mulletts tattoos and Bastinacs hair are the baromoter of their form.

The more tatts Mullet gets, the shitter the form.

Similarly for Bastinac, the longer he grows his hair the worse he plays.
That's bad luck for Mullet. At least Bastinac can cut his hair and return to form...

Season wasn't as bad as people make out. We just improved a lot.

I expect him to wander up to a wing at some point and be very damaging.

His kicking is elite and that what we lack.

If he gets the ball from outside 50 with a bit of space it's a guaranteed goal. He doesn't miss form there.
