Brett Goodes took a different path into the AFL, running around in the QAFL and VFL as older brother Adam won two premierships and a Brownlow medal for the Sydney Swans. Brett had over 100 games experience at state level and was named in the 2012 VFL team of the year. He also worked as player welfare manager at the Bulldogs last year. Invited to train with the senior list in the off season, his improved fitness impressed the Bulldogs coaching staff and he was picked up in the rookie draft, winning the last place on the list ahead of Brent Prismall.

seems to be tearing up the VFL but cant come back into the side??
Had some good games in the AFL last year but the only one (?) he played this year didn't do too well
 
It just seems Macca is treating him like he did Cross. Not part of the future, so he's being left out. Who came in for Darley, and how did they do?
Jack, Griff and Roughy came in. Roughy did well.

He should be played as half fwd cuz good kick when not under big pressure (like in back line) and great intercept / reader of play for opp kick ins.

I love the idea, but I can't see Macca giving him games over the kids.
