The entire archive of 8bit to the Future (including our unreleased Episode Six) can be found here: https://itunes.apple.com/au/podcast/8bit-to-the-future/id887123702?mt=2

Please keep in mind that we recorded Episode Six some weeks ago, so if you have sent us feedback / comments over the last few weeks in the podcast thread, they will likely get a response in an upcoming episode.

Episode Six reviews Killer Instinct (SNES), Infamous: Second Son (PS4).
Our preview is Mario Golf: World Tour (3DS)

We will post updates for upcoming episodes in this thread and we generally read out and respond to any interesting comments we get on this thread in every episode.

Leave us a review on iTunes, we would really appreciate the support guys!

For those unaware, we have a set format for each episode where we review a game from our childhood and a current gen game. We then preview a future game that we are excited with.

Let us know if there is a game that you would like us to have a look at next!

We have received a request to look at the state of AFL video games over the past couple of generations.

We think it would make for an interesting discussion as we were very big on the first AFL Live game.

How have people found the last couple of games?

Is there any chance of a reboot on the new generation of consoles?

Let us know your thoughts, we are after some good comments to read out and respond to.

IMO there hasn't been a good AFL game since Aussie Rules Footy.

AFL live was a very very solid foundation to build off though, for what it was I thought it was brilliant.

Doing an E3 episode? I see it is being Twitch'd and the like I have but no time to keep up with stuff like that.

Yeah, the next one will definitely be E3 themed as well. Probably dedicate our "future" section purely to that.

Does anyone have thoughts on E3 they'd like to share for the podcast?
Would you like us to do the show for you as well or just the ideas for it?

But seriously was talking to Pants the other day about childhood games and he said he would love someone to review one of his favorites, thought the show could do it

That was a private chat.

Born late 80's, it's hard to go past this original (pretty sweet bed spread):

However, if you had one of these on top of your SNES, you had every game and very enjoyable arvo's/evenings after school:
