Happy with those 2 additions for the Jets. Rumours we are looking at a Latin/South American striker import as well. Just hope it's more of the Milton Rodriguez variety and not the Mario Jardel/Edmundo Zura type :p

Also there were some talk of us being in for Beauchamp which would fill up our CB stocks nicely.

Good signing for us. Hope he can capture his form he had for Adelaide a couple of years back :thumbsu:

Zenon Caravella has been granted a release from the final year of his contract with the Jets to pursue other opportunities outside of football in his native Cairns. He hasn't retired but is taking an indefinite break. He's 31 - if the Fury get reinstated down the track, maybe he could be an option as a player/coach or something like that?

He is a good player, but does it seem to anyone else like just about everyone who goes overseas comes back here, for one reason or another, fairly quickly?

It's nice that the A-League is producing or developing players who attract the interest of foreign clubs, but it would be even better for all parties if some of these players were able to really push on and cement their careers in the better overseas leagues.

some have done that? not every player is gonna go overseas and star for the team they sign for

Cahill will come to the a-Leauge but when his carree is nearly sone not when he is playing prime soccer

Taggart to Fulham done deal.

Jets rumoured to be interested in 23 year old Ecuadorian Edson Montano and a former La Liga midfielder.
