She saw the ball come off the defender...at that point he was in an offside position.
She obviously wasn't paying attention to the fact it came off the defender not the attacker.

I've seen worse. IIRC a couple of seasons back and ar flagged a Brisbane player when it was thrown to him directly from a throw-in.

Archie Thompson got called offside against Wellington once from a throw in! Can't remember if it denied him a goal or a one on one, but THAT was the worst I've ever seen...

Hes atrocious! Both at setting walls and positioning himself for saving free kicks. Its amazing how often he doesnt get close to saving them.
