You hit it on the head. They were great concreters and fruiterers too. I spent 40 years with all those Romans and Greek fruit shop owners . Ha ha ha .I think all the short Romans and Greeks moved to Melbourne after the war and became concreters and fruiterers.
Yes my home town was definately Rome and Athens in parts. Not bad restaurants either . And a fish anda chip, a shilling a chip please anda 1 a peice a flake.
In QLD they never knew what flake was , but they sure knew what Victorians were. The Best. Didn't like us either.
